Our home

We close on Friday and hopefully get to move our things is April 6 (which is also Sean's birthday)! We are soooooo excited! I am just so proud of our house, and just love it so much!!

I have so many things I should be "blogging" about. I will post the Ward wedding shower pictures and engagement pictures within the next couple days. Mili turns 5 next week and we are having a birthday party for her Saturday, so I am sure I will have pictures from that too! (Yes, welcome to my crazy life...house, wedding, birthdays, showers, oh yes- and still school... but all blessings as well :) )

Now off to get ready for church, we are starting a new women's Bible study- I am looking so forward to it! Promise to write soon!

Happy Wednesday... oh and 45 more days until the wedding! Woo hoo!!!

Exciting News

So again the Lord has blessed us. If all goes well with inspections on Monday, we should close on our new home on March 31. They asked to lease it back for 3 weeks since they haven't found a place, so by April 21 we will be able to start moving things in!

It is more perfect than I had even be praying for. It's BEAUTIFUL, we are so proud of it. Thankfully Stephen has taken care of pretty much everything... he has been the one talking about and forth with our real estate agent and loan officer. I really haven't done a thing. The street and neighborhood are so nice, something I am so weird about. It's a real open floor plan (which we really wanted). It's a split floor plan, another thing that I was really hoping we could find. All hardwood floors, and several updates! Double sinks in the master-something Stephen and I had become really weird about, like we had to have this lol- so thankful this house did. I could go on and on, it's just awesome and I honestly just can't wait to be living in it! Mili has her room picked out, she didn't want the one that was already painted for the girl but the Spiderman room instead (the boy's)- and I made the mistake in telling her she could pick, should have known better... lol. So now it's the fun part. Picking out new living room furniture, dining room set, and decorations for the house!

Another exciting thing is our new Bible study at church for moms. I have been so convicted about so many things. I am excited about being challenged and learning things that God has instructed me to do, all for Mili's benefit. Prayer is something we talked a lot about last week. When we started in my mind I thought I would be "ok" for this lesson because I pray for my family daily. But by the end, the Lord revealed so much to me- mostly how shallow my prayers are. Aside from this Bible study, I have been studying a lot how God has set up the home. I want a marriage that blesses God's heart. While I know and am certain that God has the man as the head of the home, so many scriptures have shown me that the woman is the heart of the home. I feel as if God has put me in Stephen and Mili's life to pray, serve, and build them up. There are so many other things the Lord has been showing me. I am so excited to become Stephen's wife, and Mili's stepmom. I am excited to see how the Lord is going to use our family.

Exciting thing #3, my first wedding shower is a week from today. I am marrying into the best family in the world. I am SO thankful for them. The Ward girls are giving me a shower in College Station next week... I am looking so forward that. Susan, Lorrie and Holly are incredible women, I am so thrilled to become apart of the Ward girls. The week after is Spring Break!! The vacation will be nice!
